On December 4, 2021 the New York Knicks played at home against the Denver Nuggets in Madison Square Garden. In collaboration with the New York Knicks and Jr. Knicks, Asphalt Green’s travel basketball 13U and 14U teams were invited to attend. To kick things off, they were given a private tour of the facilities at Madison Square Garden.

They then got exclusive access to the pre-game shootaround, which saw both professional teams conducting informal practice sessions before the game. The Asphalt Green players got courtside seats to watch the pros strut their stuff. But the kids didn’t stay benched for long, and they got a chance to play on the pros’ court before the opening tip. The Nugget’s Jamal Murray fist-bumped everyone as they got on the court to play.

Then the kids settled in to enjoy their free tickets to the game. When the game was over every Asphalt Green player left with a Jr. Knicks uniform.
