Education is key to staying injury-free.

Asphalt Green is partnering with Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), the No. 1 ranked orthopedic hospital in the U.S. (U.S. News & World Report 2016-2017), to bring you an interactive sports safety workshop focused on reducing risks of ACL injury in athletes.

ACL injuries are one of the most common injuries in athletes, with over 250,000 ACL surgeries performed in the U.S. each year. This free workshop will provide tools and resources for coaches and parents of athletes who are at risk of ACL injury.

The HSS Sports Safety team will introduce Neurodynamic Reinforcement™ — a coach-led method of preparing athletes for athletic activity by teaching and reinforcing movements that improve performance and reduce an athlete’s risk of injury. Participants will actively perform a customized warmup during the workshop while also learning how to assess ACL injury risk.
