Asphalt Green’s Recess Enhancement Program (REP) is gearing up for another great year of making recess active, safe and fun for New York City students! For the 2014-2015 school year, REP will be serving more than 28,000 elementary school students!
For participating schools, we send highly trained and talented Play Coaches two days a week to set up play stations and teach innovative recess games for students. Besides encouraging a fun and active recess, children will learn the values of teamwork and conflict resolution. They will also learn games they can play both indoors and outdoors to get their heart rates up.
