Q: What inspired or motivated you to run the NYC marathon?
A: I have been running all my life. I started running road races with my dad when I was 8 years old and went on to run cross country and track in college. It has always been a dream of mine to run the New York City marathon.
Q: Why did you want to run with Team Asphalt Green?
A: I chose to run with Asphalt Green because of the community and stability it provides. Throughout these uncertain times many of my friends have been able to rely on Asphalt Green as they stay true to their mission of providing access to sports and fitness. I truly believe fitness brings people together, and friends brought me to Asphalt Green.
Q: What do you love about running?
A: I love running because I love that it's a sport that you can do anywhere and for life.
Q: How do you stay motivated during training?
A: I stay motivated during training through a great playlist, podcasts, and knowing I'm pushing myself to accomplish something great.
Q: Why are sports and fitness important?
A: Sports and fitness are important because you only have one body and it's your job to take care of it!
