Pirates, princesses, Disney characters, wizards, and more took over our Upper East Side and Battery Park City campuses on October 27 for Asphalt Screams. Over 3,000 attended the free, family-friendly Halloween event that featured active games and spooky fun.
Kids and families were all smiles as they participated in a variety of sporty games on our outdoor athletic fields. Spooky Soccer Darts, Ghoulish Gaga, and Boo Bowling were the most popular activities at both campuses.
Asphalt Screams raised over $9,000 to support our free community programs. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the event’s lead sponsor, NewYork–Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. The event was a success, in large part, because of support from the community. If you had a blast and would like to sponsor a future community event, please contact Erica Lopez at elopez@asphaltgreen.org.
We hope you had a spooktacular time! Scroll through some of the best pictures from the event above, and see our full album on Facebook. Plus, stay up to date on the latest events for kids at Asphalt Green by following us on Twitter and Instagram.
