Brianna Herrin
Brianna recently completed the Brooklyn Half Marathon and was left wanting more! The energy on race day was electric, and she’s looking forward to running the iconic New York City Marathon. She’s running the full 26.2 miles in support of Asphalt Green because she believes in the importance of youth sports and fitness.

Aloysee Heredia Jarmoszuk

Aloysee is a member of Asphalt Green’s board of directors and is excited to be able to give back to the organization by running the marathon this year. She believes that sports and fitness are critical to mental and physical health, especially as we come out of the global pandemic.

Angel Macias

Angel is the Swim School Administrator at our campus in Battery Park City. He takes great pride in supervising the Waterproofing learn-to-swim program, and enjoys being able to give back to the community. This is his second year in a row running the marathon on behalf of Asphalt Green.

Will Rappaport
Will is running the marathon in the footsteps of both his parents, who ran the marathon in the past. He values Asphalt Green as a place for friends and family to stay healthy and positive while they exercise.
Chris Sandt
Chris, a veteran of the US Navy, is running the marathon to demonstrate to his children what hard work can accomplish and to teach them the value of helping others. He values the great work that Asphalt Green does.

Cara Talento
Cara already has two full marathons under her belt. After her second experience, she decided to run for others and not for herself. She chose Asphalt Green as the charity she would support because she thinks everyone deserves a chance to feel the power of sports and fitness.

Chris Trafford

An army veteran, Chris is running a full marathon to take charge of his mental and physical health. He thinks that running promotes overall wellbeing and that it is an excellent antidote to the stresses of city life.

Erin Walsh
Erin is running the marathon with her sister, Meghan, and they both always dreamed about experiencing the race together. She loves that Asphalt Green provides community programs and thinks that running for the organization is a great way to support our outreach programming.

Meghan Walsh

Running a full marathon will fulfill a long-time goal for Meghan. She’s passionate about health and fitness, and she’s run several half marathons to prepare for the experience. Sports and fitness have taught Meghan confidence, resilience, and teamwork, and have provided her untold mental and physical health benefits.

Asphalt Green would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our runners!
