The AGUA Masters Swim Team traded the New York City winter for warmer Florida weather during its training trip from February 6 to 10. The team trained twice per day at a pool in Sarasota, Florida.
When the 13 attendees weren't swimming, they enjoyed the quiet, relaxing vibe of Sarasota. Their hotel was right on the beach, making for the perfect place to relax between workouts. Over the course of the week, it was exciting watching everyone improve. Some of the swimmers returned from the trip and moved to a faster lane at practice.
Overall, it was a great week of swimming and bonding with teammates. The next stop for the team is the New York Masters State Championship from April 5 to 7.
