Chris Cassels, Basketball Operations Director

Chris Cassels has been involved with collegiate and youth basketball for the past nine years. He joined Asphalt Green in 2013 as the manager of basketball operations and began coaching the travel team in 2016.

Coach Chris played for the basketball team at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. He was the first recipient of the Cassels-Thompson Dedication Award, which is given annually to the player that exhibits leadership qualities both on and off the court.

Prior to joining the Asphalt Green staff, Coach Chris was a two-year assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at his alma mater. 


Adrianne Bunbury, 10U Head Coach & 11U Assistant Coach

Adrianne Bunbury has been coaching at Asphalt Green since 2013.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Coach Adrianne played basketball, football, and track and field at the high school level. On the court, his specialty was defense, which is now his favorite position to coach. 

 

David Rohn – 10U & 14U Assistant Coach 

David Rohn joined the Asphalt Green basketball coaching staff in 2017. He has experience coaching at camps, clinics, and leagues throughout New York. His favorite skill to teach is off-ball movement.
Coach David attended Indiana University where he studied recreational sport management. He is also a passionate Knicks fan. 


Shirod Ince, 14U Head Coach

Shirod Ince joined the Asphalt Green basketball staff in 2015 and has experience coaching kids ranging from ages 5 to 17.
A native New Yorker, Coach Shirod grew up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. His specialty is defense, and he enjoys training players to be successful at the next level of competition.
