The Swim for the Future Scholarship is awarded annually to dedicated and talented youth swimmers on the Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics (AGUA) Swim Team with financial need. Since 2001, 226 scholarships have been awarded to deserving swimmers. Scholarship recipient Lia Neal took the Swim for the Future Scholarship to a new level of prestige when she won a bronze medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay in the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
To be eligible for the Swim for the Future Scholarship, you must be a current AGUA Swim Team member. The 2014-2015 Swim for the Future Scholarship application is now available. The deadline for all scholarship materials is September 19, 2014.
To Apply:
1. Go to mytads.com.
2. Click on the Financial Aid Assessment button.
3. Fill in the application form. You will be asked to upload several documents, including an essay.
4. Click submit button to process application.
