Our AGUA Swim Team is Manhattan’s premier competitive swimming team and one of the top teams in the Northeast. AGUA’s mission is to develop the character traits, technical skills, and intense desire necessary for success. We believe the qualities which are developed by our pursuits in the pool translate effectively to our work habits in school and beyond to our adult life.
More than 200 children ages 6-18+ of all skill levels from each of the five boroughs of New York and northern New Jersey enjoy improving themselves on the AGUA Swim Team. In recent years the Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics program has produced Olympic Trials participants, Senior and Junior National Championship finalists, National Junior Team members, National Age Group and Metro LSC record holders, and multiple swimmers ranked in the Top 100 in the world and Top 16 in the nation.

LIA NEAL AT THE OLYMPICS!
AGUA's Lia Neal took home a Bronze medal in the Women's 4x100 Freestyle Relay at the Olympics on Saturday, July 28. Lia is only the 2nd female African-American swimmer in US Olympic history. If you missed Lia's final swim, you can catch a recap on NBC.
Swimmers trying out for AGUA can also apply for Swim for the Future scholarships. In addition to financial need, recipients are selected based on their talent, dedication, and passion. Scholarship applicants should contact AGUA here for an application form. The scholarships honor the lives of Andrew Fisher and Doug Irgang, two Asphalt Green Masters swimmers who tragically lost their lives in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
